Col Hardy I am ME
Pioneer of contemporary Aboriginal music, Col Hardy OAM joins folklorist Rob Willis for a conversation in words and music.
Hardy was the first Aboriginal performer to win a Golden Guitar at the Australasian Country Music Awards. He received a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2007 for service to the country music industry as a singer and recording artist, and to the community through the delivery of outreach zoological education programs in regional areas. With the release of his most recent album in 2014, I am ME, Col has been composing and performing for over fifty years.
