Phlegm, humors and fluids! Dr Natalie Köhle talks Chinese medicine, focusing on shifts in the tradition which culminated in the Qing dynasty. She is interested in the intersection of the history of humors with the history of fire and the passions in Chinese medicine, and in the connections of Chinese medicine with the ayurvedic and Greco-Islamic medical traditions.
