Goodfellas
It’s Scorsese Season by David Stratton at NFSA. Good and creepy times.
‘Goodfellas’ (1990, R18+).
One of Scorsese’s greatest, he worked with author Nicholas Pileggi to adapt Pileggi’s non-fiction bestseller ‘Wiseguy’ about FBI informant mobster Henry Hill. Ray Liotta is Hill, making his way as a young tough in a crime family amongst the psychotic Tommy (Joe Pesci) and Jimmy (De Niro).
‘Definitive, sky-high Scorsese, and the one towards which all his subsequent films have been reaching, ‘Goodfellas’ is, put bluntly, the best movie of the director’s career’ – The Times (UK).

It’s best to double check that events are happening – sometimes things don’t go to plan.
