Reconciliation Week at the NFSA

The NFSA celebrates Reconciliation Week with a series of special screenings of Indigenous films.

‘Bitter Springs’ was Ealing Studios’ third and last film made in Australia.

‘Dead Heart’ explores the strained relationships in an outback town after the death of an Aboriginal man in a police lock-up.

The ‘Fringe Dwellers’ was the first Australian film to cast Indigenous actors in all its leading roles.

‘Yolgnu Boy’ explores the story of three boys caught in a collision between the brave new world of rap, football and street cred and the oldest living culture on earth.
