Useful photography #011
Erik Kessels

For the 11th edition of Useful Photography magazine, Erik Kessels has collected images from various shooting ranges across the US to take a closer look at the variety of shooting targets that make up what is a strange, hilarious and somewhat disturbing visual language. The series of images asks the pertinent question of whether firearms are acquired for added protection or whether they simply contribute to more violence. Thanks to KesselsKramer (Amsterdam) and Idea Books (Amsterdam).
