How to use iPhones and iPads

This 'How to' is designed to ensure the use of iPhones and iPads improve efficiency and minimize guest interruptions.

all staff must ensure the required level of quality for this procedure is maintained at all times and that all staff, contractors and suppliers that this procedure affects are aware and trained.

PROCEDURE

  1. Nominated staff will hold iPads and iPhones while at work to assist in the speedy and accurate delivery of service.
  2. F&B runner, Duty Managers, HK Supervisors, Front Desk and Concierge are issued with iPads and iPhones at the beginning of their shift.
  3. When speaking on the phone all staff should be mindful of guests in house and keep speaking volumes to a minimum. Communication should be short, succinct and brief.
  4. Hotsos communication is used for any guest request.
    • Guests can request for items through the ipad.
    • Guest requests should be actioned with efficiency
    • Once the job is completed is must be ‘completed’ either in HotSOS
