Staff benefits
There are a number of benefits available to you as a Hotel Hotel or Monster staff member.
1. Come Stay
After three months of service we’d love to have you (and a friend) stay at the hotel in a Cosy room. This is available to permanent Hotel Hotel and Monster kitchen and bar staff, and casual Hotel Hotel staff.
Just talk to your Manager to organise a good time; we do need to organise this around quiet times (so not when Parliament is sitting).
2. Family and Friends
A discounted rate of $165 to stay at Hotel Hotel for yourself, your friends and your family. Speak with the Revenue Manager or General Manager to organise the stay. Not available on parliamentary sitting dates.
3. Gym
Your swipe gives you access to the gym on the ground floor. Please feel free to use it – there are weights and cardio machines in there, a really nice view, and it is open 24 hours.
4. Monster kitchen and bar
20% off at the Monster kitchen and bar. If you haven’t met the Monster staff member serving you, just introduce yourself and let them know you work at Hotel Hotel or Monster kitchen and bar to get the 20% off
5. MONA
Our friends over at Mona give us all 20% off at the Mona Pavillions in Tassie. Just email the General Manager with your dates and we will organise for you.
6. Halycon House
20% off at the Halycon House in Byron Bay. Yeah! Just email the General Manager with your dates. Subject to availability.
7. ROJI
All staff receive 10% off full priced cuts from the Roji hair salon on the ground floor.
8. Fix and Make
Concession rate tickets for all staff members to Fix and Make workshops. Book online via the website.
9. Free tix
From time to time we get tickets to the Palace Electric Cinema, Bell Shakespeare plays, the Canberra Symphony Orchestra concerts and National Gallery of Australia exhibitions. When there are tickets available the General Manager sends out an email, so keep an eye on that if you’d like to bag them.
